Game thinks it's already open and has never opened
Every time I've tried to open it it says the game is already open, I have team racing as well but have never had them both open at the same time oc, my only thought is maybe deleting team racing, but I do like team racing, just sucks there's no content in team racing

Same for many on here. I've yet to get my game working and I've tried all the suggested "fixes." I'm running Windows 11.

Go to your game files and rename your Launcher to Launcher.exe.old

Try launching the game again like normal.

I know it's weird, but it worked for me. \[T]/ Some random comment on an old post.

setting the launcher compatibility to window 7 fixed the error for me, can do the same for config.

For some (like myself), deleting the installscript.vdf bypassed the "Game already running error. Then just launch the game from your file browser instead of steam.

Im having the same problem. Bought the game today. Tried to change the name of the Laucher to Launcher.exe.old but didnt work. :(

One fix that has worked so far, and even had my achievements popping, was turning off my computer's internet, like, playing with your wifi or cable off. Shi77y bypass, but managed to run the game without random crashes.

I just changed my resolution from Fullscreen to Fullscreen/windowed throu the laucher and worked. The game opened!

Unplug the controller, run the launcher from the folder..
Run the game once, close the game.
Plug the controller..
Run the game from folder ( ASN_App_PcDx9_Final )

Worked for me, played a bit yesterday.
Widowed/Fullscreen..
