Is a .cpp file compatible with GMod?
Me and a friend fixed the flaregun from HL2 Beta, and I want to make it a gmod addon. But I don't know:

1: How to compile code into a workable gmod addon,

2: If C++ works for a gmod addon,

3: It it is possible to make an addon from a file such as the code for it

Any help will be nice.

Afraid not.

Garrys Mod uses Lua for it's scripting language. http://wiki.garrysmod.com/page/Main_Page
