We are trying to make the game the best it can possibly be. That's all. We don't want to delay it. We just want to make sure it achieves that high standard.

I mean it is fine. It's a game. There's a million and a half other ones that will release between now and then. You didn't pay for it yet so you're not missing out on anything. I'd like the game sooner than later too, but if the game would have major flaws on release, I don't want it, and I'm shocked you would.

A release window is not a date. Sure it sucks it keeps getting pushed back but I'd rather it be pushed back than release a broken mess, early access or not first impressions make or break games.

The vast majority of players are not even aware of the windows, most simply wishlisted it and will see when it releases it.

Look I get it, you really want to play the game, so do I. I would rather that the development team delay a game to make it better, then push a game to make it somewhat OK.

It's OK to be annoyed, but me personally I would hate it if the game was really bad and then they made the statement: "It will be better in a few months". To me that is just lazy at best and honestly I think they are better than that.

So to developers, PLEASE prove I'm right, OK?

Nobody wants the game to be rushed out by a certain date unless the game is at a point where the devs feel like it's finished and polished. Delays are a good thing. Stop complaining about devs making the product you want to buy better because the only alternative is a product that's worse. If they release it early you'll be complaining on the forums that they released a broken and unenjoyable game despite you being the reason they did it

No one wants flaws or rushed game smh we want them to honour the dates they put no one forced them to say hey games coming this date(dates imply dev says game is ready for said date so not sure how that's wanting it rushed dates are for release nothing else so i dont want to hear its a suggestion its projected date blah blah excuses all of them!! ) oh no now this date common sense says if your having issues of meeting timelines you set yourself then don't set timelines(buut what do i know right)anyways they kept doing it and were the bad guys for being upset that they keep over promising and even commenting a few times that everything was all good don't worry type vibes im sure @DEMANATI would be able to dig those up as he has made comments about that point in past specifically in regards to "accountability" but anywho how many people have said set to coming soon or tba did they no they kept up with dates they cant meet and here we are now three dates gone in the wind with there excuses being we are struggling and certain features this and that but even with that said they still didn't have the common sense to go hmmm maybe coming soon or tba is a good idea.......now tiny build has set a date will they meet it?? who actually knows anymore i mean they had to convince value to allow any of the previous 3 dates to go up and failed so what was said between them and tinybuild that holds anymore water than what they claimed to valve as to progress of development and meeting DEADLINES. ***i really like to know there thought process how do you over promise a game by over a year how the heck did you remotely think it was going to ready in 2024 when coming on oct 2025 its to be determined if its even ready yett smh with paul and co.

Ik it sounds unbelievable but the devs literally told us it will not be delayed even days before the delays were announced. I was one of the mains ones in their discord server asking if it will be delayed and they blatantly told me and many others will be released on time and to not worry about delays. Then a week or 2 later they delay and we repeated the cycle 2 more times. When you slap on a release date in a couple trailers and on all of the store fronts and make zero indication of a delay a it least a month in advance 3 times now, there is no way a customer is expected to be happy about it

In the few days before a release date I always read that it is not sure, but they still "want to hold the date". So of course they will try, especially with words, to hold the date and will not say that there is a delay - because they do not want to delay it.
Still, overall and especially after the first delay, it often sounded as the date was already off the table for me. At least in one case already some weeks prior.

Again, it is ok not to like them or rather for how they did/do things, but AFAIK they did not lie or were bad to the community.
Your story even backs it up, they told the news, at least for some, at short notice, but they did not lie.

And yes, true, they repeated their way of lets say "bad communication", but again, they delievered reasons and explained the delay and did not lie. Also over time we got many vids showing the game and at least some playtests - so they did quite a lot to make future customers happy IMO.

Plus, for me it was clear at the later dates, that one waits until the given date because the chance is high that they will miss it - and it was true again and again.
Again, nobody lied or such, but with logic one could save a headache about it.

And now we got an official release date, backed up from the publisher. We will see if they make it, but this one is a first and not the "X"th time =)
Nevertheless, customers do not have to be happy about it or other points about the devs/ the game, but customers also CAN be happy about the work the devs do to make it a great game and look forward to the EA release date.

Both are fair points. I do not feel offended or attacked by the devs, so I look forward to the EA release, thats all
