This isn't the first time I've seen people write that changing the region can help, but I'm interested in how exactly you need to change the region? Changing the language, changing the Steam region, changing the region on your computer. What exactly do you mean?

For earlier Windows versions, you'd need AppLocale or LocaleEmulator to emulate it.
For Win10 (and 11, I think), you can select Start > Settings > Time & Language > Region, there you can choose preferred format from dropdown.
You may need to add language in Language tab first, before you can switch to it's regional formatting.
As a side note, you'll get information that some apps will need to reboot or require system reboot after changing formatting, but for Unity-based games, it only matters that you switch it before booting up the game (and change it back after closing the game).
