An unreal engine process has crashed...
Just playing this game normally in linux (garuda Linux, manjaro and St4eam Deck) without issues and suddenly I started receiving an error like: "An unreal process has crashed: UE-Cronos", happening after the press any button screen before starting the main manu of the game. I tested in Windows and is happening the same!!! Do you guys have the same issue? In the web I've found this has happened to other users too and even some tutorials on how to solve this by changing the lauch parameters in steam to force directx 11 as the main grapic API for the execution of the game, but in the end this is not supposed to be happening at all!! Have you devs received similar reports about this issue before? If that's so, are you planning to release a fix for this soon?

I have the same problem and I can't continue playing it's very annoying. I contacted the support and they said is my problem and I have to update drivers, reinstall game and all this generic answers than can help for the majority but not for this Unreal Crash. They still have to fix it.

Were you using frame gen? I'd been using it for a while, then it randomly started crashing the game. Eventually I couldn't even get the game started without crashing. It's annoying since I'd been using it just fine before. I went on GeForce Now and turned off frame gen, then saved at a save station. After that I could continue on Steam Deck.

I think this worked because the graphical settings are tied to your saves.

You might be able to delete some save files that contain your frame gen saves in the game files in desktop mode? No clue, and I didn't think to try that until now.

Unfortnatelly I'm not able to start from a different save since I've been using Frame Gen since the beginning of my game. How could this actually work in the Steam deck without Frame Gen!!
Indeed the developers should solve this issue soon.

I'm agree, the developers should fix this soon!! I've not tried to play today but it seems that there is no change in game yet.

Started crashing with Windows 11 update KB5065789 a couple of days ago and resolved it by changing g-sync settings from "fullscreen mode" to "windowed and fullscreen mode."
Got crash on a lot of different game recently, but no crash anymore after updating my BIOS, worth a try I guess

Hadn't thought of that, I'll give it a shot tonight. Thanks!
