you can but you have to push forward and go left and right with your stick. you will see that you get slowly through it. thats how i did it. hope it helps :)

and in the settings you have to turn v-sync on (vertical-sync) its very important.

Yeah, a high frame rate causes various problems in this game, and that seems to be the most common one. The simplest fix is usually to enable V-Sync. There's more about that in the post below:

If you have problems doing that (eg. video card drivers can override the V-Sync setting in the game), another option is to limit the frame rate in some other way (eg. in the video card drivers, or by using a display, like a TV, with a limited frame rate).
