The other day I bought 2 Xbox series x controllers for me and my gf to play through a bunch of Lego games together starting with Lego batman, I got the controllers paired, fully updated and all good to go.

The first controller works natively and operates fine, however the second controller isn't recognised by the game. I've gone into the settings to change the input device to the 2nd controller for player 2 but when it says to press any key/button it doesn't change the device or recognise an input.

I'm just wondering if anyone has had a similar issue or knows what's going wrong? Open to any ideas, thank you 😁
