The game may only work with 360-compatible controllers. I didn't see any mention of that in the game manual (if you haven't seen it, there's a link on the store page), but what they show in the manual is a 360 controller.

If that's the problem, there's a program out there named x360ce that may help. I haven't used it. I've just seen it mentioned. It will apparently let other controllers emulate a 360 controller.

Make sure that Vertical Sync in turned on in the video options. Some people have had problems interacting with certain objects in the game when V-sync was off.

Thank you v sync fixed my car
