(SOLVED) Game refuses to run
I've started this game 3 or 4 times now and each time it keeps going to the same black screen. I've installed the correct directx, ran in compatibility mode with Windows Vista, and made sure my drivers were up to date and nothing has helped, please for f-ck's sake I need some help

The savedgames and settings files are stored locally not in the Steam files:
C:\Users\#username#\Appdata\Local\WarnerBros.InteractiveEntertainment\LEGOBatman

The .txt file can just be overwritten to change the settings.
If you delete any of these files/folders they will be refreshed when you next run the game but you will lose progress if any of the saves are deleted.

You should also check that any of your graphics card settings are not overriding the games settings.

Try changing your sound card settings to 16bit44100Hz or similar and also reduce any framerate settings to 60fps. Some people have also been mentioning lately that changing the sound output device has made a difference (see link):

If you run it on Linux via steam's proton, and disable Esync, it works great
