i dont know why this game is tricky to work with and get 4k full screen working on a 4k monitor

i can't seem to get it to fullscreen 4k with proper everything it shows only 1/4 of the screen when alt entering and even if i select different resolutions it does not show the entire screen when fullscreen and i do not want to play this game in 1080p on a 4k screen because the text and everything then is too small

so is there some work around or maybe bug i am encountering?

i know this is an old game so this is kind of a big false prayer of hope someone else who plays in 4k or full screen has a work around

game looks really good and fun no issues there just odd video settings bugs/issue
