No sound at all, please help

I don't seem to have any sound in both OMD and OMD2. I verified that it is turned on in the game menu. I also checked Sound Mixer in Window and its on for both Steam and OMD/OMD2. Every other game I play on Steam has sound. Please help. Thanks!

Maybe windows muting game sound because your mic or other players is on.

This game is pretty bug-free and I've not heard of this before, first thing always is to Verify Local Cache.

Steam>Library>right-click OMD2>Verify Local Cache

Consider temporarily disabling your anti-virus so no files get accidentally blocked - don't forget to re-activate it after Verification.

cougarific i did what you said to do and it said that 1 file failed to validate and will be reacquired have any idea what that means??

Means it found a broken file that will be re-downloaded and installed - that probably fixed it.
