There are many frog and berry transports in the game. Is the berry located in the correct location? (NOT on any grass, as birds won't see them - scare the berry to jump onto a wall if there is grass). There was one puzzle where the berry starts on the roof, and you have to move it onto the wall where the ladder is which took a bit of care - if you scare the berry into the hole the frog was in you can't get it back out again and have to leave the area to reset the puzzle.
Personally, I would advise just playing the game and ditching guides, as you can go to many different locations if you get stuck on a particular puzzle.
