Gate Success & X-Ray Stuck, need 1 more each

So my achievement counter is stuck with both achievements. I didn't do detour (I googled). I went up to the tower, through the caves, and then collected my last ancient frog afterwards. I also have the gate up in the volcano that shows you to the pyro frog. I followed a guide on youtube, to make sure I didn't miss one achievement this playthrough. Still missing just one.

Same for the Xray. I zapped a big bird and a little bird, I zapped both berry bugs (The normal one, and the light giving one), I zapped the light giving bug, the whistling bug, butterflies, bats, porcupine, atleast one ancient frog that I remember and myself. I also made sure that when I did these, I didn't reset my progress by whistling, but used an eagle to soft reset the map I am in.

I am pretty sure cuz I deleted my save file to work on playthrough #2 that it bugged out for me.

Which is kinda frustrating because I finished this game twice and the second time I followed a guide step by step.

If anyone has some tips for me I would greatly appreciate.

I remember the X-ray that the little creatures (berry bugs, etc) don't count. You need to electrocute Toki Tori, frogs (regular), big birds, little birds, porcupines, and bats. If you think you did, try them all again just to be sure. I thought I had, but I finally triggered the achievement (it was one of the last ones I did).

Same with the gates; there's probably one you missed somewhere. It's tedious, but check them all.

Thanks. I'll try the x-ray over again, was thinking of zapping some monsters again.

Regarding the gates, they are all activated on my map, as far as I can see. But I'll do the tedious work of writing down which ones I have.

Yeah, it's a chore at best, but I had to do it because missing one achievement bugged me too much 😵

So for some weird reason while I was trying to sleep last night, it popped into my head... ''Did I even enter the disco in this playthrough?''. So I just went in the disco, activated the door, and my achievement popped. I think back at it now, and I ignored going to the disco, because I had already earned the achievements in my previous playthrough.

Ulgh...

Now to zap some enemies... again. I can't wait to 100% this game and uninstall it, even though it's a really good game, lol.

EDIT: I'm done. Looked into the files to see what creature I was missing. For some reason I missed the Porcupine even though I zapped him early on. Yay. Time to uninstall :P

I wonder why they call them achievements, when anyone can just go online and follow the instructions in order to get one.

Instead of actually "achieving" something, one is basically cheating.

OCD kids these days ... smh
