I was thinking of an idea that used rarity as a basis, say 3 points for a common rune, 4 for an uncommon, 5 for the next level etc. Also add another 1 for a level 2 card and 2 for a level 3 card. That way the point total more accurately reflects the overall strength of the deck.
This point total could also be used as a basis for pvp matches or using decks of players for matching, but have the AI play the deck (a modified pvp like in Gems of War).
Yeah that would probably work better for rating decks. I just used the shard cost because I had just came from there when I had the idea.
