Does anyone use the SynergiesMOD (BEST MOD OUT THERE, btw!) and did experience something similar? The mod increases the pack counts on the maps and has more champions and elite monsters. My PC is more than strong enough to handle this game (even a potato could run it...), the grafics card doesn´t work harder than in desktop mode. My machine runs stuff like Witcher 2 or Bioshock Infinite in high resolutions and full detail.

But if there are 20 or more mobs on the screen it just runs like ♥♥♥♥. There are no stutters or frameskips but the whole game just slows down to a crawl. Just like slow motion. So EVERYTHING slows down and it can get really unresponsive pretty fast.

No problems if I pull one pack after another, but who plays ARPGs to tiptoe through the world? ;)

I can´t remember having this problem in the vanilla version of the game so I guess it´s just too much for the game engine itself to handle from time to time? If so that would be really sad as there would be no way to fix this I think.

Any tips how to ease this up a bit? Tinkering with resolutions and details won´t really do much.
