Concur. Better to rely on local saves for this game

The Steam Cloud does not sync well with TL1 or TL2. I turn it off for both games and make my own backup saves. I keep links to the location of the Save files for the games on my desktop, along with links for the location of my backups, so it's very quick and easy to make my backups after each play session.
