I put some elbow grease into it and mostly conquered the tutorial and it is fun! I love how many different tricks there are and there's obviously lots of room to grow one's skill with practice. I suffer with big skill issues but I still enjoyed it.
I do think the game could be a little more beginner friendlier by explaining what the skater terms actually mean when you first come across them. Things like olies and especially the names of structures used for tricks are confusing when you're just trying to learn button combos and have no familiarity with skating. Also, I think it'd go a long way if the tutorial could include the keyboard buttons, not having to check the controls to figure each new thing out would be nice.
Also, was the riverside bank map supposed to be in the demo? It's really empty and you can fall out the map incredibly easy by just going onto the bridge lol. The endless falling that follows lets you do a lot of airborne tricks endlessly though XD
