The game is fun at first.

If you try to go beyond beating the game once and rise through the throne levels, you'll start noticing there is frankly too much RNG. TOO MUCH RNG.
The shotguns, the one thing that should be C.O.N.S.I.S.T.E.N.T each time you fire them, can provide different results because of random spread AND IN TURN damage dealt being R.A.N.D.O.M T.O.O even when shooting a piece at point blank range, so why bother playing well?

Higher throne ranks (main game-mode by the way) devolve into praying RNG is good, and it's a shame since the game is good when consecutive lucky draws aren't required to win.
Can't recommend this already niche game if you can't occasionnally handle rigged dice throws like me.

The game is both very challenging and very fun!

I would love there to be in the game a mode like Throne that would allow you, after each floor, to choose the cards directly from the Codax to make the 3-card achievements more skill-based than RNG-based, and to allow players to better experiment with different builds

Fun, but the replayability is not the highest among roguelikes.
