To answer your question, the game isnt too bad in the woke department, maybe minor issues here and there, but no KCD2 levels of cringe.

The thing is, the game isnt great. You will have more fun playing rome 2 or warhammer 2/3 straight up.

Strange, last I checked Abraham Lincoln was a republican, the first republican POTUS for that matter.

His enemy, Jefferson Davis, president of the Confederate states was a staunch democrat..

keep in mind.. the idea of conservative isnt tied to political party.
also lincoln was actually quite conservative. he was also the first republican president.
the word liberal now days isnt actually the word liberal either. its a mess out there.

Historical revisionism is an inevitability. Even Napoleon, the most hated man in Europe up until 80 years ago is now painted in a relatively innocuous light.

But, Woke is a useless subjective word since Fox news and the party the attacked election integrity, flouts the Constitution and is robbing Americans blind for their corporate overlords under the guise of Christianity spun it to frighten their impressionable, media illiterate, expertise fearing base of boomers.

Whoa woke agenda pushing is a an issue in the games industry sure but I did not know Total War games had a woke problem too?

P.S Different people have different wokery tolerance thresholds. So I can stomach a couple of gays and lesbians sprinkled in. Or the the odd empowered female warrior pounding men because hollywood has been stuffing it down our throats for decades now but it starts to get tiring if it goes much farther than that.

I’m more concerned how well/poorly the game is first and foremost. Unfortunately, imo this game is a step back from Troy. But there are some good kernels that a smart dev could use going forward.
