good question

I can sense the characters are going to be off putting to the average Beat-em-up person. There is no DEI anything behind it, if you look up who put money into the game it was grants from the European Union.

Those grants can dictate a lot of your content. I mean it isn't going to stop me from playing the game, sorry. I also have Dragon's Crown. But I can see people rejecting it.

Games like these treat their characters like diversity checkboxes and not people, which is why they always fail to find an audience.It's not about whether the character is realistic or not, its that it was done for creatively bankrupt agenda pushing reasons. Nago in the new guilty gear is a black vampire samurai, and he's cool. Whats his face in the new assassins creed is not.

Same here man. I was playing with my son and we ignored the DEI slop until the strong independent single mother witch goddess showed up.

I enjoyed the demo, the combos were tight and responsive and the ways the characters played felt really different from each other. Now, I'm not a white guy that thinks anything other than a white male = slop or "forced dei". It's a big world and there's a lot more than white straight guys out there ya know? It doesn't hurt to co-exist with people. Expand your view instead of being stuck or the world will pass you by.
