Possible to play on EarthNet still? Or servers are offline for good?
Hey guys,
does anyone have and info on how to play Earth 2160 online? I have read a lot on the internet to solve this and start a game on the netserver.earth2160.com server, but with no luck.

Any advice?

Earthnet is still online but you need a registry fix.

Is the registry fix only necessary for the windows version of the game? I have two friends on MacOS I want to play the game with and I just want to know if its worth the effort or if we should go for hamachi etc in the first place.

It's only for Windows. Mac has no registry in this way. 😅 🙈

So they should have no problem to connect to the Earthnet? Or are there Mac-specific difficulties?
Is it with the registryedit still necessary to forward some ports in order to play or is that solved with this fix?

You still need port forwarding to play. 😅
