Hmmm, you do know how old the game is, do you not? Game was made when any computer at the time can run it fine when there were no 2, 4, 6 or greater video ram and the video cards available now. Things we have now were not even invented then lol. Play the game @ 768 p then.. and enjoy.

i have found that the antivirus can catch the running program so look for that in your AV also restart the game it should work if you dont have any other trouble.

run in safe mode and switch to full res and fullscreen.
this game crashes when u alt tab.
its like 20 years old and not designed for win 10 and 22 drivers.

I battled this for almost 2hrs, but eventually got this to work:

In registry editor, go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Reality Pump\Earth2160\Graphics

1. Verify/Change Fullscreen value to DECIMAL (not Hex) value of 1
2. Change Height to DECIMAL value 1080
3. Change Width to DECIMAL value 1920

Then create a shortcut to your EXE file in Steam\steamapps\common\Earth 2160\Earth2160_SSE.exe (you'll have to use this to launch from now on, as the Steam one won't work after modifying system registry; or at least it wouldn't for me)

I also currently have that EXE set to Windows 7 compatibility mode, as that was the last one I tried, and don't want to screw it up by changing it, lol. I've heard others have success with XP SP 2, in case 7 doesn't work for you.
