Cant change resolution

Hey everyone i really need help. I installed the game and i wanted to play on 1920x1080p but the game crashed when i tried changing the resolution. The music keeps playing but it only shows the logo. I tried changing to windowless mode an back, but now i cant change back to fullscreen. I tried setting the game to run on administrator mode and compatibility mode as windows xp sp2 but it didint work and now i mcaffe keeps saying that the start file is a virus and keeps qurantining it even when i add it to the exception list. Please i really need help, i dont care if i cant play widescreen i just want to play again on fullscreen.

I would suggest to just run everything on default settings and un-tick windowed mode. Not saying it will help but maybe. Don't forget the game is 20 yr's. old. I think when I played the game, resolution was something like 800x640 or something like that... all I can say :(

You tried Alt + Enter on your keyboard? 🙈

Yeah, and it didnt work still. I havent changed any settings, its all on high, which was default for the game when i started it

If i remember correct, you can also change it with Regedit.

So regedit and navigate to:

HKEY_current_user_/Software/Reality Pump/Earth2160/graphic

But i'm not sure. I'm not at home so i can't look. 😅 :/

Nope, you cant directly choose the resolution there. It only says wheter ot not you can have only 4x3 modes

Okay, changing it to only 4x3 modes on the install script brought back the fullscreen, but i still cant change resolution. Does anyone know if the gog version has this bug?

Try to change the resolution but reduce anti aliasing a bit or turn it off. It should work than.

Okay so i fixed it somewhat:

theres a file that changes the registry to force the game to use 1920x1080p. It doesnt solve the problem that you cant change the res (or the graphical settings for that matter) but its better than nothing. I got it in the Inside Earth discord on the technical help section. Thanks for the help guys.
