I also think the quarter pipe glitch might have something to do with quarter pipes that are against walls

thanks for the follow up. I see! the speed boost comes from the fact that you get speed up whenever you fall/go downhill, but i agree its probably a bit too much. I currently work on improvements for the game and i will add a limit to it.
I also currently added a graze period after landing which keeps registering for wheelies for a few milliseconds so the wheelie registering works now better, maybe that already fixes the issue you had with the ramp. The update will come out in about a month.
haha yeah i really was bummed out when i noticed that the mods don't work properly on linux, what a shame :/

It can also happen without the speed boost ramp. If you want, I can try recording it and posting it to YouTube. But there is a couple of other things that's giving me issues, I'm not sure if it's specific to the first level. But whenever I jump off a rail while grinding, sometimes I'll land early in mid air. It's kind of weird. And submitting a score to a the leaderboard can erase my high score which makes me a little sad because I'm just trying to view the leaderboard. My old high score is actually 380 million, but it got replaced with a 42 million point run

I think I figured it out, I'm still not sure if it's specific to the first level but whenever I use the half pipe over and over again for points, I'll start to gain so much speed to the point where I'm like a bottle rocket and then, it stays like that unless I'm grinding. I'm not sure what makes it happen, but maybe it has to do with doing tricks back to back or gaining air, and speed. Sorry if this isn't helpful enough, that's why I wanna try helping more with recordings if you want

Thanks for explaining. I think its probably that you get speed increase upgrades + airing a lot which lets you get really fast. Yeah if you can make a recording or screenshots that always helps.
Which rail is it that stops your combo?
Hm normally leaderboards only get updated if your score is higher than the previous one. Maybe you had the higher score on a different difficulty? (Skulls after picking the stage)

I thought that maybe I picked the wrong difficulty but I pick hard everytime because easy isn't challenging for me. But I also looked at my easy mode high score and it's is very low in comparison. So I think in all the modes it's replacing my high score by accident whenever I tap submit score.

But here's the video to the glitch I was talking about, it doesn't happen until around 3:25. You might have to bump up the quality because my steam deck makes it worse. I thought maybe it had something to do with the overdrive upgrade but, it doesn't seem like it.

Thanks for the video - yes this is due to gaining speed every time you ride down the ramp, but i agree it's way too much and can increase your speed without limits. I will add a limit to it to prevent becoming too fast.
As for the leaderboards - it shouldn't do that. The score should only overwrite if it is higher. That is a steam feature and i simply add the score, everything else is handled by steam. i never had any problems there myself but i have to further investigate. Maybe you can also try and add a small score like 50 and see if that will overwrite your higher score. Thanks a ton again 👍

Oh you are right! there is a bug that forces the first score to replace any other score. I fixed it now, will also be in the next update (2 weeks from now)
