Virpil or warthog joystick binding

Hello. I cant figure out how to bind my virpil warbird to fly heli with. I can see it in the game but cant acually bind it to anything. 2 of my friends that also have virpil cant either and 2 other have wathog and cant get it to work either.

Did they not add support for more joysticks now when the game updated to 1.6?

Any help is appreciated

TLDR, the HOTAS support is still in development. The target definitely is to be able to add/edit bindings in game, but right now we're about half way there. At the moment you have to use the Workbench to create a config file, where you map your device inputs to individual actions in game, and then you take the resulting config file and copy/paste it into the Arma user profile, so you can use it in game. It It's far from optimal, but I guess we were nagging the devs so much, they made it accessible at this stage of development :D right now the thread on Discord is a bit of a mess, as it absolutely exploded in the last few hours. You might want to wait as devs are putting together a manual how to create your own config, should be up tomorrow (or later today, as it's actually after midnight here)

Maybe if they focused on important things like this instead of stupid things like "unique lighting fx for k & m " we would have it working. It's not that difficult if they had the will !!
