I'm a bit confused

The game say's PVE/looter, yet the beta was a extraction shooter. Have they reverted back to the original model, or are they charging money for a PVP/extraction shooter? Because i really feel having a open world pve with the pvp/pve extraction as a mode within the game would have game this game a longer term burn, and would have been worth the $40.

where do you see PvE/looter ?
the steam page says extraction adventure
the change from PvE to PvPvE was quite a while ago and all public playtests (not only the last big one ) were extraction with PvPvE

It even says multiplayer, extraction adventure.
But the misleading thing is it still lists Online Co-op under features (and Family Sharing ^^)
