My sincere guess is - it's because of the writing, it's just not that good. Everything else, except for stupid bugs and annoying design choices like "you discovered your bed" notification, is better in my opinion. Game is much user friendly, but the pacing and writing just not that good for me. I couldn't stop from playing KCD1 for days, KCD2 feels like a job at times.

And I have nothing against gay sex, especially if it's women, but every character should be properly integrated to feel natural (no pun intended).

Henry was an established character in KCD1, unless hitting someone on the head makes a straight person bisexual all of the sudden, which is hardly the case.

Hans Capon could be that person on the other hand, and all his woman ventures might be an elaborate charade to hide his other side.
Actually, they could have very effectively developed this part of that side of the character, adding drama about how he has spent his entire life forced to hide behind the guise of a ladies' man, just to avoid arousing suspicion from others, fearing being misunderstood or even worse - being executed simply for the way he was born.
That might get them awards in no time. But what do I know, I'm not a developer.

Is Henry an established murdering psychopath? You can certainly play as one, same as any other decision you make in the game. It is a role playing game after all.

I thought the game awards were woke by you guys, now they are not. It's crazy how it changes depending on the narrative.

It does, look at Degenerate Gate 3, TLOU2. but the standards are now raised very high so they wouldve had to be way more degenerate to make them happy.

BG3 doesnt qualify as woke. You have the capability to do the things but you neither have to nor do you have to interact with it. The "woke" elements aren't forced nor do they not make sense in the setting. As it stands, the actors within BG3 are almost certainly of the belief the game should be much more woke trash, but Larian has shown no indication they will bow to that mob. Don't slander a company before they have earned that hatred.
