The messages pop up in seemingly a random order. This means you'll get for example, the reactions to a death before the message about the death. If there are any multiple choice events, they will pop up over everything, so if you get a message about something happening and click the button to go there, you won't actually go there but instead get the multiple event. All of this adds up to reading event messages being a disjointed mess.

Ordering should be more sensible, so that causal events always appear before reaction events, and the reaction events appear directly after the event that caused them.
Multiple choice events should probably appear either FIRST or LAST, so that they don't take over the screen from other events.

e.g.
1. agent X ran into a storm
2. agent Y found a gaggle of alchemist
3. ser paininthebutt is moving to attack agent X
4. clicking "take me there" suspends the other messages so that you actually have a chance to SEE where ser paininthebutt is
5. ser whatshisface died
6. ser whatshisface's mother is stricken with grief
7. ser whatshisface's brother swears revenge

right now this may play out like this
1. ser whatshisface's mother is stricken with grief
2. agent X ran into a storm
3. ser paininthebutt is moving to attack agent X
4. clicking "take me th---- actually agent Y ran into a gaggle of alchemists
5. okay but what about ser painint--- actually serwhatshisface died
6. yes I knew that because his mother was stricken with grief I really want to see wher--- 7. actually ser whatshisface's brother swears revenge

it just gets really annoying and makes me want to turn off all notifications, but then you don't really know what is going on in the world.
