My tether was going after 3 years (sparkly RGB) so I purchased a new one. The new cable arrived tied off EXTREMELY tight pulled directly across the diameter with the part of the trident connector next to the breakout bent to all hell. Obviously this is not acceptable for a $130 cable, especially when the entire reason I purchased a new cable was due to a break.

I contact support, RMA it, receive a new cable and... it is tied off in exactly the same way, it has an even more severe bend in the same spot. I'm going to try to RMA it again because cables are not meant to bend at 90 degree angles...

Is this really how they are shipping these cables? Is anyone else seeing this occur or am I just very unlucky?
