How some of these bosses are even beatable at difficulty 5?
This not some weak impressive thing like nameless puppet ng+4 with twin sword

It's other kind of things...
my question is does someone even playtested this? Because if i remember corectly developers said something like : "We're not gonna increase difficulty by making bosses bloated with health and one shots because it's lamest way to increase difficulty" or something along these lines.

Now look at Boss rematch difficulty 5.

One hit kill? check
Ridicolous health bars? check
Garbage reward for survival this torture? also check

I can't with right mind comprehand this design. It feels like one of the lmao meme response to community for criticizing devs for making games too easy.

Dear Lies of P from bottom of my heart here is news: "Stop being so sensitive and start being reasonble".

Bosses like blackrabbit ganghood, Arlechino, Pupeteer of Death or Simon Manus are ridicolous and stupid to no damage.

And for what? For badge that you won't even notice on your bag. Like seriously?
At least in sekiro they added new outfits but here its just... you did it... cool... here is your badge :steamfacepalm:


What king of broken difficulty scaling even is that

it feels like even difficulty 3 is already higher than ng+4.

You know you sort of explained your self,

I asked "did someone playtested this because its stupid" and you said "it rewards nothing of value"

so it litterally exist for no reason.

aren't game suppose to be fun? then where is fun in doing pointless thing? (assuming it is beatable) where is satisfaction when you complete it? Or reason to even do it? In sekiro you had same thing and you was doing it because there was reason for it and enjoyment to get (outfits and combat art with additional AP upgrades).

Here you getting nothing until you finish difficulty 5, and after all that your reward is pointless rubish badge?

Useless badge you should get at difficulty 1 new weapon at difficulty 3 and new Outfit at difficulty 5 or even better to even convince people to play it.

I had high hopes and i was happy when i first time saw it.
Only to realise what it is. A "meme" reflection of strengh rip off from Sekiro with stats of bosses so insane it's litterally disgusting to look at.

I mean, I'm certain theres people that will have fun playing it. If they'd locked outfits behind it you'd complaining you want the outfit but the fight is too hard.

It's not like this took dev time to implement. It's just a fun extra for those that want to push their knowledge of the bosses to the limit and it sounds like thats not you.

Because this game has builds and sekiro doesn't. You have 4 whole difficulties to play that you aren't complaining about. Go play them. Difficulty 5 is not designed to appeal to most players but it does appeal to some.

This ♥♥♥♥ is just like the abyss in Nioh 1. If you still like fighting the bosses but everything else is too easy cause you got good, fight these, if not, then don't. It's that simple.

This is a funny post because if they put rewards behind it, ANY rewards, even just cosmetic, you'd get people complaining about "locking rewards behind unfun content".

In fact, I'd wager you would be among them. Not everything has to have extrinsic rewards to justify itself, this was added to the game as an ultimate challenge for those choosing to reach higher peaks of what can be achieved in the game. Putting extrinsic rewards behind it would almost defeat the point.

I've killed a few of the D5 bosses (Nameless, Watchman, Romeo), and they're all overtuned to hell and back - it's the same scaling they have on higher NG cycles, and while, yes, it's possible to do these fights, dealing chip damage with a massive greatsword and every single buff you can stack onto yourself while they chunk your health isn't how I'd like to spend an entire play session.

Not to mention they seem to stagger much less frequently.

No Reason? It's vor people who like an extra callenge, not casual players. Just like Steel soul mode in Hollow Knight, Master Quest in Zelda, or MGS3 european extreme. Stop bothering everyone with complaining about how an extra hard mode is extra hard.

Dont complain about difficulty or they will nerf. Better to be too hard than too easy and they have easier difficulty modes already so feel free to use em. Its nice to have an optional mode that is hard as balls.

i'm grinding it actually, learning bosses is fun ! fougth the first one in 5 all the rest in 4, now working to beat them on 5, it's fun ^^
