Here's the Counterpoint: you can't force devs to cater only to the most hardcore players. you (super-hardcore) guys usually aren't the main and final audience.
Games are usually designed to address a reference audience, and all the people around those boundaries (eg: those slightly less skilled, and those slightly more skilled).
More people playing the game, within the established target audience = more game copies sold = more money.
Is that hard to understand?
You literally claimed you don’t insult anyone, even after I posted obvious evidence showing you lied and the best part is you didn’t even try to argue once I said it. Because you knew I was right. And you doing it again...
How is that for punchline?
Unfortunately i'm very well aware nobody can truly change someone's mind on the internet, just like i have no true obligations to discuss about a game i 100%'ed yesterday.
Hence i do like to bring shards of good old "common sense" into selected discussions.
Now, can we get back to the actual discussion, or are you just going to escalate into ad-hominems?
it may have something with the fact you harassed other users, you was dishonest despite obvious exposed evidence of your lies and litterally your ego got offended when people calling you after it.
But obviously for you calling people insecure, Imature, criticizing them for playing on professional level while in same time claiming you don't care to play same level...(Lmao litterally) is not insulting at all apperantly.
Also you needed only 2 years and difficulty switch to finally 100% this game...
Hmmm you know what? Yea this one line beats me... You never fail to amaze me my guy.
Since I’m ready to truly move on with my gaming journey (and after thanking Neowiz for LoP), I’ll leave you with something to think about:
The moment challenge stops being about skill and starts being about keeping others out, it’s no longer about games — it’s about ego.
First of all I can see from miles away you use chat gpt to write this (humans never using —)
Second, you wanna play poet now? I can do that too, but unlike you I don't need AI to create poetry.
To live is to suffer. To survive is to find meaning in suffering.
Think about this.
You can always make the game more difficult for yourself if you do some sort of challenge, or just don't level up that much.
There's are also Boss Rematches, that are pretty difficult tbh if you're not high enough level.
It is mode that is litterally base on grinding
Bosses in rematches does not scale. There is nothing fun in rematching them. It's either get 2 shot or kill boss under 30 sec. fighting with bosses bloated with hp makes me fall asleep and spaming consumables to beat them is anything, but difficult.
Also why pro's have to make game harder for themself exacly? how about people who are bad start making game easy for themselfs instead? It's not pro's that cannot progress without handholding, so they shouldn't be punished for it. Nerfs should only apply on easiest difficulty since no pro will ever use it and no pro should suffer because of it.
This is such a simple concept that these people are missing. Why are the bosses getting nerfed on the "hard" difficulty? Why not just on the easy modes?
so i will simply say because elden ring started legacy of making souls like for casuals...
and since that idea sold so well everyone have to use it too.
People are excited for Lies of P 2? BRUH lies of p 2 already will come out with difficulty slider, free mimic tear, best weapon to start game with, and free option to skip any boss if you can't kill it somehow...
This is what souls like evolve into : Genre for people who cannot adapt and git gud.
The original game was balanced rather diegetically via rewarding the player hugely for clearing levels thoroughly with contextually relevant weapons, armor, amulets, etc... The fact that Perfection Grindstone is part of the last set you get is clearly deliberate. However, it's not much of a stretch to say that Overture treats the difficulties it added more properly like Easy/Normal/Hard as advertised.
The patches that reduced the difficulty of Overture mobs only impacted weak enemies and on the initial game cycle / NG, as far as I know. The NG+ scaling adjustment that went back and forth for the base game doesn't really matter in the grand scheme since A) it's NG+ and B) Battle Memories is untouched.
You have difficulty switch that determinates damage taken and damage dealt. Why even ask about nerf?
