I'm genuinely curious what hardware you have?
There's your problem!
Lies of P looks good but dated.
careful what you wish for lmao.
But i get a lot of loading stutter like issues in other games that use the same engine. I don't think the problem is the engine in general but the way the devs use it and optimize the game.
Also open world games (which Lies of P isn't) seem to have these issues more often than more linear games, both in UE4 and UE5.
people (game developers) may not have the correct knowledge and the best practices on how to properly optimize their content and/or apply the best settings during development.
Sure thing, hardware facilities like FSR and DLSS may lift game developers of a burden or two, but not everybody* has access to the newest hardware.
Beside that, only Capital-G-Gamers are foolish enough to expect game developers to pull a super-optimized game out the magic hat, with little effort.
*= except the sweatiest hardware/gaming enthusiasts with loads of disposable money.
