I've only finished the game once, am I good to try out the DLC?
I dunno if anything is scaled or the DLC is meant for more veteran players

Yeah dude, tackle the DLC. Go for it. It does scale with your NG+ cycle just like the base game though.

It's definitely harder than the base game. I only finished the game once, began NG+, got to chapter 5, beat the DLC is 14 - 15h

Definitely play the base game again first, (NG+) there's lot's of additional lore on the fact that you will now understand what the puppets say to you. there's also the true ending.

After that try the DLC. ; )
