Same here recently, what driver version are you using on your 5080? (I have one as well) I am currently using the 576.02 driver.

It's whatever's the latest on the app, but you can also go and find a hotfix from about 4 days ago (neither did anything for the stuttering)

At one point, even at 120fps, the game became unplayable and i had to turn it off.

Something that worked for me was turning off Game Bar and replacing the game's DLSS .dll for the latest one available.[www.techpowerup.com]

are you using frame gen? was getting a lot of stutter and weird vsync issues. had to disable. are you borderless, if not try it. there were couple of games that I had frame gen issues in and borderless fixed them.

My specs are 3060 12400f, and the game feels like it's laggy more after the patch.

This game does not have frame gen option, I think.

Use FSR 3 Quality, the best for gaming for all drivers, and then put ur fps limit to 60, its gna give u 120 fps as a result. clean and good

I have rtx but FSR run better for me in all games

I had the EXACT same issue on my 5080

I have this issue with a 4070 ti in specific locations/when looking at certain things. The above mod did not fix it. Launching through special k did not fix it. No option changes fixed it. DLSS swap did not fix. No Nvidia Profile Inspector options were able to fix it.

If anyone has any ideas, that would be great. This game ran more smoothly on my 2070 super I had when I originally bought the game.

My thoughts exactly. It was also happening more the longer I played to the point where, I entered the factory area and it was unplayable.

I have same issue on 9800x3d / 5080 - it was unplayable with the frame drops

I fixed this for now by turning off DLSS, use FSR quality instead with AMD frame gen enabled.. then use the in game fps cap at 60 fps

This gave me a smooth 120fps

I had stable 60 fps on ultra without dlss or other things but now its laggy unplayable garbage with freezes over 5 secs and hitching all the time. Wtf?!

If any of you are using Windows 11 24H2 make sure you get the KB5058499 update.

It should resolve some major issues with gaming and resolve potential stutters.
