You can add grain, just not bags of steeping grain. You can purchase grain from the store same as the kettle. I'm pretty sure this isn't intended.

gotcha. it was an extract recipe so should work with an AG recipe? Im about to try that. Should be able to add anything at anytime, at least I hope, in final game.

I've mixed gain and extract and produced a beer that could complete both jobs at once (can only be submitted for one though), so yeah, you should be fine.

Yeah, I would expect eventually it will work as expected. I also found it strange that I couldn't add hops or steeping bags to the electric kettle, so I just started using it for mashing.

Is there seriously no way to add hops to this thing? That is beyond dumb if it is not a glitch. It looks like they should work with this thing I am hoping there is a patch to fix that.

I use an electric system myself, and I use it for both mashing and boiling. What's confusing here is that you can mash in the electric kettle in game, but can't boil hops.

I'm fine with it being meant to be used solely as a hot liquor tun, but then you shouldn't be able to mash in it either.

That is one of the dumbest things I have ever seen. So you can only brew one batch at a time, because you only have one stovetop burner? Heat the water in the kettle, pass to a pot, steep the grains, pass the wort BACK into the kettle, boil, pass back AGAIN into a pot, add the hops and boil for x amount of time. What a waste of time and in game finances.

Hard pass uninstalled and de-wishlist, good luck with your game.

Maybe instead of just telling us 'no', make hops attachable to the kettle but make the kettle more expensive. You know, progression.

Also some of you all overreact so hard to things you don't like it's just depressing.
