Can't Pour into Container

I have read some threads on here about others having an issue with pouring ingredients into the final barrel. I am stuck at the point where I am trying to transfer corn sugar to the plastic barrel. No matter where I try to set the barrel down, it will not let me pour it into the container. Get the error message "Can not pour into this container. I was able to do this earlier in the game, but I am stuck where I can not advance further. Love the game but unfortunately can't play it because I can't finish any more beers.

You can't add stuff in a barrel, only in pots or some of the fermenters you can add non liquid stuff.

Yeah, the recipe instructions always say to pour the last blast of sugar into the fermentation container and then you pour or (better) pump that's contents into your conditioning container.

to be fair while you can't do it in game,, maybe you SHOULD be able to do it.

Yeah, you really should. but you kind of can, you just need to use a pot, water and ingredients and use a pump to make a last minute addition to a conditioning container, oak barrel or keg.
