It shouldn't matter.
I think the issue you're running into is that pumps no longer transfer undissolved things. It was a problem that they fixed and it fixed a lot of other issues in doing so, but it could introduce more problems if you tried to pour yeast into wort and not directly into the Fermentation container, carboy or oak barrel, as you would get not enough yeast transfer if you dropped it into the wort before that stage.
The pumps will now filter it out as undissolved and only transfer the liquid.
Undissolved things are basically a solid and right now, pumps ignore them. They can only transfer liquids, so they need time to dissolve or they are entirely ignored by pump transfers.
So I moved the carboy somewhere else. And it actually worked, I guess since the carboy was on the floor, the table prevented me from doing it.
