Yeast won't dissolve!?!?!!
I've been trying to brew the American Style Wheatwine Ale to fulfill the Strong As An Oak job. I've been following the recipe to a tee. I've tried at least three times, and all three times the yeast doesn't dissolve during the fermentation process so there's so ABV. What could I possibly be doing wrong?

I also had this issue. Check the temperature range for the yeast, I was accidentally pouring it in and lowering it below 20 °C, which killed it. When cooling it, you can cool it to about 21° so that it doesn't cool off too much while adding the yeast.

Certain yeasts will only start to work at 19.19 a developer said in another post on these forums can't remember what thread it was.
