Help on the Ascent task "Thread the needle"
Does anyone here have done the Ascent task "Thread the needle"?
I have a hard time trying to get all the requirement to finish this task.
These are the requirement.
1) ABV between 3.5% to 4%
2) Bitterness (IBU) between 20 to 30
3) Beer Color (SRM) between 10 to 15
4) Carbonation between 1.5 to 2

Bonus Requirement
5) Contamination below 5

The beer recipe that i think is the closest to all the requirement for the task is the specialty beer "Piwo Grodziskie" but it will only fulfill 1-2 out of the 4 base requirement.

There's also the bonus requirement of contamination below 5 but that would be easy for the bonus requirement by just brewing everything carefully.

If any of you have a recipe for this task, can you share it either step by step, or in the steam workshop?

I have done it. The recipe that actually match to the task is "English Style Bitter".

You have to follow the recipe exactly, though i might have added an extra 10-15 gram of grain due to the unpredictable nature of the adding the grain step.

The stat of the brew that i brewed is
1) 3.52 ABV which is just barely in the range of 3.5% to 4% ABV
2) 29.0 IBU which is just barely in the range of 20 to 30 IBU
3) 11.0 SRM which is just barely in the range of 10 to 15 SRM
4) 1.75 Carbonation. I got this carbonation using the forced carbonation equipment
5) 2.3 Contamination. As long as you condition for 21 days using the force carbonation, it will get to the bonus requirement of Contamination below 5.
