Hi, can you try unplugging your controller to see if the game is playable in the keyboard/mouse mode? My best guess is that some input on your controller keeps sending a signal to the PC (e.g., one of the sticks is drifting a tiny bit past the dead zone) which forces the game to switch to gamepad inputs.
