Based on initial impressions: Kaname > Ichika > Mao > Hare. I'm not too far into routes though so I'm near the beginning of Kaname's so far. Will be interesting to come back to this and see if/how my ranking changes.

Do you think we will get the full version of the game with the extra routes at some point or will they just move on? One of the Japanese versions has the other two girls as heroines as well.

Erika and Kaoru dont have routes in any Versions of the game..
Smee never does routes for sub heroines in any of their Visual Novels

After completing all the routes, i'm going to list in my opinion, my favorite routes. Hare<Kaname<Ichika<Mao. Now i did enjoy most of them but imo Hare has the best ending and a good story. Kaname had the best story and the ending was sweet. Ichika had a really good story especially near the end of her route and the ending to her route was really touching. Mao had an okay story but her character change throughout really made me enjoy the route much better but the ending i feel like they could've incorporated her love for kids instead of the Christmas scene but it was still good and a different ending scene compared to the others. Overall really good game just wish each route was unique so you didn't have to go through the dorm roles and common route all over for each girl.

Those are All Ages Console releases.. but i dont think its possible for them to mix and match Plus i believe the Licence they got was for the 18+ PC version of the VN

To be fair the only route I am close to finishing is Kaname's. I like her the most. Starting Ichika's route next. I will say from what I have seen, playing this without the 18+ patch does take away from the growth in intimacy you witness.

YESSS

Depends on what you want in your sex scenes. The very best scene, imho, features Ichika. Overall, It's either Mao or Hare.

In all fairness, I'm still in the middle of the common routes, but so far I really like all the girls.

I had my clear favorites and not-so-favorites in Making Lovers, but I like these girls overall much better, and so far having much more difficulty choosing a front runner.
