This might come from a corrupted save file.
You can try this :
- Copy/Paste your saves from \Documents\Enodo Games\The Architect Paris\Saves to another location.
- Delete all folders and files inside \Documents\Enodo Games\The Architect Paris\Saves
- Launch the game
If the game starts correctly then your problem was indeed caused by corrupted save files. Unfortunately, that means that your save files can't be reused. The corruption can happen when a crash occurs, and we try our best to fix all those crashes.
However, if the issue persists, you can move back your save files and let us know so we can investigate it.
