A short version here:
Someone decided it was a good idea to blow up the entire airport just to kill the demon.
Unfortunately, the protagonist was at the airport at that moment as a civilian.
The demon noticed the bomb. So, he tried to jump to the protagonist that is a bit far away from the bomb so that he can survive the blow.
However, the demon was still badly wounded. He was unable to take over the protagonist's body.
On the other hand, the protagonist was also hit by the bomb, relying on demonic power to keep their body not falling apart. Thus, expelling the demon right away can kill them.
As a result, they got into an uneasy partnership.
Depending on the protagonist's choice, the demon may become more and more human or the protagonist may become more and more demon later. (This part is still largely working in progress.)
