I encountered a bug related to the resident population. After reaching about 300 population, with the policies "Auto Call Radio" and "Auto Accept Outsiders" enabled, whether I manually call the radio or use auto call, and regardless of whether the policies are set to automatic or manual, yellow neutral survivor squads no longer spawn on the map.

I currently have 440 workers and a total of 570 citizens. The Assembly Point has a capacity of 400. I'm wondering if this is related to the Assembly Point being over capacity.

They could be getting killed out of sight in the fog, as the game goes on infected waves get quite big and can often not reach your zone the same night they spawn.

I have seen the neutral squads get into fights with them quite often as they wander between buildings, all it takes is them wandering into a building or a few the infected are hiding in to eventually get wiped out.

That or the same thing could be happening if they run into raiders, especially with most of the neutral squads I see only having machetes and rarely any guns.

Agreed.

I usually send a squad to baby-sit these neutral survivors.

Sending around a two vehicle patrol, is also a good way to spot these wanderers early before they're killed off by the constant horde presence, or rowing bands of raiders.

I have over a dozen squads with vehicles searching for supplies on the map. For about 10-15 days, I haven't received any radio messages about finding survivor squads, nor have any survivor squads initiated contact via radio. Currently, the increase in my worker population relies entirely on children coming of age each day. Some users in the Chinese community have also mentioned this as a bug: tieba.baidu.com/p/10139730566, but I believe this bug is related to the Assembly Point or policy.

The yellow survivor squads are not disappearing due to attacks from red hostile raider squads—they simply aren't spawning on the map at all. Even after turning off auto-broadcast and attempting manual calls, no survivor squads have contacted me.
I believe this is indeed a BUG caused by the policies.
I've played for another 10 hours, and during this time, neither manual calls nor automatic calls have resulted in any yellow survivor squads joining my base or contacting me. I confirm this is a bug and request a fix as soon as possible.
I can only rely on about 10 children coming of age each day to increase my worker population. Even though my total number of children has reached 120+, only around 10 to 14 mature each day.

the yellow ppl do not spawn cuz they are capped at 300/400+ so the players dont snowball the game
and in the early game they just straight walk in the enemy makes no sense

As far as I know, the current default population cap is 800. Once reached, no new children will be born, but it's possible to exceed this limit by recruiting yellow neutral survivor squads through radio calls or random encounters. Currently, hostile raider squads, yellow military convoys, and yellow merchant vehicles are spawning normally.
I confirm this is a bug and request a fix as soon as possible.
To me it makes sense that after a certain amount of time wandering survivors either found a place in an other zone or... are simply not alive any longer. I think that's the reason why no one react to my broadcasts after day X.

However, through inquiries with gameplay video creators and posts from other Simplified Chinese players, I've learned that the failure to spawn yellow neutral survivor squads is indeed a bug. Under normal game mechanics, even after exceeding the population cap (800 in the standard version, 2000 in the BETA version), it should still be possible to recruit survivor squads by calling them via radio to join my base.
