Game is locked to 30 fps. RTX 4080, ryzen 5800x, 32gb ram. Newest NVIDIA Studio Drivers.

EDIT: For people loading into a black screen after selecting "New Game", install "vp9" (it's a video codec) from Microsoft Store. That fixed the issue for me.


Demo: selecting "New Game" loads into a black screen with BGM and mumbling, but no progress. I can press buttons to get a "Skip" input hint at the bottom-right corner of the screen, but trying to Skip doesn't actually do anything.

I play at 3440 x 1440 which seems to be supported by the game. But when I rest at the bonfire (whatever is the new thing called), ultrawide resolution disappears and I get the two black bars on the sides and this block off text and other UI because the game is still displayed at 3440 x 1440 but with 2 black bars.

Hello, when i click start new game i only get a black screen and what sounds like a dragon talking, cannot skip or progress beyond it
Specs: 3080 Card, AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core Processor 3.60 GHz and 16g ram.

kuso port, can't even start the game, I press start, it "loads" then loops back to "Start game" showing.
shouldn't have taken on doing 3 (or more) games at the same time, TN.

- Unable to get past the initial screen 9/10 times, the process freezes.
- Off chance I can get in, all audio is cut.
- When I try to start, the process freezes.

1. Open the game default 720P resolution, and can not be modified. I tried to change other options in the game settings, but it doesn't really save. When I restart the game the settings will be back to default.
I tried opening the game after copying another player's game settings file and it didn't change.
Settings file: D:\system\Users\userName\Documents\KoeiTecmo\Wolong\Savedata\graphics_option.json
2. Start the game with 720P resolution, and the game flickers after creating a character.
