Probably not, co op is for 4 players but Trine was always a game with 3 characters

4-player co op is only available in unlimited mode, where several copies of each character can exist at the same time (the game mode has been available since Trine 2, but was limited to three characters back then).

Haha, I'm resurrecting the post, because it was hard to find accurate info on this, and I think most people who played any of the other games will have this question.
