Sorry you're having this issue, I just tried to create a Remote Play Session to myself in Trivia Tricks and a different Steam game and I encountered the same problem in them. I think the service may be under maintenance.
It's not been reported on the Steam Remote Play discussion boards so I think it's likely this issue has only just started. I’m really sorry about this! I’ll keep trying throughout the day and post here when it's back!
I’ve been investigating this issue and it seems to be occurring specifically with the Android Steam Link app. I’ve reported it here and will keep this thread in the loop.

Good news! Valve have just released a new version of the Steam Link app for Android which resolves this issue.
It’s currently in beta, which you can opt into downloading on the Play Store page for the Steam Link app. I can confirm invite links are working for me in the beta.
I'll update this thread again when the update is promoted from beta into the standard app. Thanks again for reporting this!
