The game is made with mouse in mind. The whole UI layout, building, combat, etc. To give the same good experience with controller, it will require some re-work of current systems. So I guess they prioritize more content for now, over controller support

someone figure out time travel that works to go back further than when time travel was invented, and convince them to not add in fishing

so is grim dawn and that works fine with a controller with no changes to the ui

Was about to buy it for my steam deck too, but i will skip it for now till controller support is provided.

Game looks great, I was about to buy it but.... No controller support. There are a lot of games out there that have full controller support. I wish adding full controller support wasn't such an issue for some game developers. I guess I'll have to pass on purchasing this game until they decide to make it a priority, and implement it.

Fml. I really wanted to play this game too, but not without controller support. All these people wanting to give the devs their money but they couldn't consider what should be damn near mandatory for most games these days.

It only took two years of "soon" for Wolcen to get controller support... same type of dev it appears.... poor communication and over-promising/under-delivering of features wanted by the vast majority of customers and instead catering only to a vociferous group of maybe five people on Discord. Discord is cancer to game development. Why devs choose to communicate on a service different from the one on which they are selling their product is a mystery.

Dev team reworked their entire game before implementing a basic accessibility feature required in 2022, don't support them.
