If it's going to force us to go back to lobby, swing over and start vs mode matching and select ONLINE, then select region and then select search for match...
Make it like you said, an indefinite search OR make it so we can at least select multiple zones OR a server browser.
AND
Stop making me go into a hosting session. I'm searching for a match not hosting a damn match. There's an entirely different process already made to account for people who want to host a match.
The sad joke is that this was supposed to be an improvement over the single zone setup. It's a downgrade and only serves to splinter the already small group of people who want to play multiplayer.
My preference is a menu option to select multiplayer -> find a game. It's fun the first couple times to swing around to start a game but if it's failing 9/10 times then maybe it's not a great experience.
If the issue is not enough people hosting games then make it a hybrid system:
2 people search for online game indefinitely, systems sees two people looking for a game, adds both people to game/hosted session but not until there's 2 or more. You know, like every other game with online matchmaking.
