Can't click on any button...

The game launches fine, but once in the menu, I can only select the language, see the credits, or send a bug report (doing it as I write I can click on the ladybug, but can't send a report).

I can't click on any button, New Game, Load, Settings, or even Exit.

I'm on Build #0.6.6.8. I already have reinstalled the game, and each time I launch the game and verify the game cache, it misses 110 files...

Most likely it's the rendering.
1. We suggest updating all video drivers and disabling things like game optimizers that could interfere with OS semantics;
2. Make sure you have DirectX installed;
3. Make sure you have Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package installed;
4. Start the HerNewMemory.exe from the root folder while holding Shift:
In the opened window in the "Renderer" section, change the type of render and then restart the game.
Best render types:
1. OpenGL / GL2
2, DirectX / ANGLE2
4.1. If you have a gamepad connected and the game does not start, then try disabling it "Gamepad - Disable" in opened window.

If the problem is in the lost files, we can upload the current build from Steam for you and send the link to your PM.
You just need to replace the files in the folder 'C:\GAMES\STEAM\steamapps\common\Her New Memory'

Just to provide more information, when I install the game and launch it, I can't click on any button.
When I Alt+F4 the game (only way to get out), and go to the properties (Current content BuildID 5751024), to verify the integrity of game files, it says that 110 files failed and will be reaquired.
Once this is done, I re-verify the game files integrity, and it says it is all good.
But if I launch the game, I am still not able to click on any button, and again 110 files fail to validate, and so on.
I'd gladly like to see if copy/pasting your files will work or not.

I have similar problem - I can click all the buttons, but when I move my mouse cursor, the game lags for a second. The game works, but the lagging is so annoying it's currently unplayable for me. Currently the game lags when I hover over clickable buttons/objects or when I'm in my room with the girl.

I also tried to verify the game files integrity and everything is ok, but when I run the game and check again theres 120 files missing.
